As a member of IACCCA ((International Association of Corporate Collections of Contemporary Art), the Collection Première Heure is presenting a selection of unique works on paper at this year's Slick Art Fair.
Initiated in 1996, Collection Premiere Heure affirms the cultural identity of groupe Premiere Heure and its distinctive personality in the landscape of audiovisual production. Broad in its scope, Collection Premiere Heure provides glimpses of key moments in the development of the photographic medium. The historical works - most of which were made during the artists' most inventive period - reveal the collection's eclectic tendencies and preferences for rare and precious images, from the daguerreotypes if the first "primitives" (1840) to the icons of the modern epoch. In the contemporary field, the collection distinguishes itself with works that confront central questions in visual arts practice today.
Slick Art Fair runs from October 19th to October 23rd 2011 on the Esplanade of The Palais De Tokyo.
